New Wetpaint Feature

Wetpaint jsut added a new feature - You can now have a NEWS page - which can pull in up to 5 rss feeds.

( nobody said those couldn't be yours :) - think squidoo lens - hubpage - zimbio etc. )

Click on the ' news' tab on top and you'll be presented with an option to add an rss feed

you can choose between specifuing your own feed or have wetpaint find you keyword related feeds - or a combination of both

A little insight joke - Matt ( @MattDetrick ) thought it would be real funny to give me a beach ball at Howies event :)

So fittingly I am now ranking for save a dat beach ball :)

Day 10- Final Thoughts

Alright - First off let me try to be funny - I don't care to take another screen shot for a long time :)

Just kidding - after 10 days I am surprised how much I learned about myself, they way I used to look at certain tasks, what is considered possible.

It became more of a personal challenge; how much can I get done; how far can I push myself?


Anyway, I think I mentioned it before here, but what started out as a competition has evolved to a cool little community of like minded individuals. For that I would like to thank everybody. I can only hope after this is over some of us will stay in touch.

Final note on this journal. In the beginning I never put any big consideration how to organize everything. And I am afraid it shows :(

The first 5 or 6 modules in the sidebar are hopefully organized in a somewhat logical way. When it comes to the rss feeds etc. - that's another story - I stopped posting those here a long long time ago. ( just too many )

Day 10 - 25 UAW articles posted and bookmarked

went through the submission list at UAW and fond 25 articles that have been posted already on various blogs.

30 accounts / 5/ every 12 hrs /

UAW will only send out 50 articles a day ( that's what's recommended ) - so for the next 10 days or so - I will have to repeat the exercise again . finding the newly posted articles and bookmark them.

Day 10 - Rss feeds to Feedagg - tip

submitted rss feeds of the sites to feedagg.

on the submit screen it's asking you moang other things to put in the keyword tags. Annoying this is : it uses a different syntax than most site ( i.e 2 word keywords have the combined like word1-word2 ; and kw' have to separated by space instead of commas.

you can around that by just putting in one keyword ( kw1 ) and hot submit.

When you click on the generated feed link you will be taken to this page.

After clicking on the add button; feedagg will actually suggest tags from you content. I normally select a lot of them :)

You still have the option to add you own. Probelm solved - right syntax - without the hassle of typing them in.

Day Submitting rss feeds to Feedage - little tip

submitted new sites from today and yesterday to feedage.

A while back I figured out that they actually have a bulk upload feature






another thing - since all the rss feeds are submitted to multiple places - and those directories scrape each other - 2 of the feeds were already present. Cool

next screen - I used all the related keywords from the Gwheel as tags
