Hubpage On First Page after 1 hour

The hubpage I created appow. 1 hour ago is now ranking on spot 10 on Google for it's keyword

Day 1 - Howies Im Challenge

I have been pursuing internt marketing now for little over 2 1/2 years. Very part time in the beginning it without pretty much any focus. That changed approx. 1/2 year ago when I was kind of forced to do this full time. My focus changed and things are starting to happen. Right now I am in this akward ' nowhere's land ' between being not really succesful and not really 'sucking' either.:)

Alright Day 1 into the challenge:

1. I decided on the beach wedding niche - particularly going after ' beach wedding invitations' and it's derivatives .

2. Monetezation will be through a datafeed site . http://mybeachweddinginvitations.com

- registered domain

- set up hosting

- installed blog with the following plugins

- while importing the datafeed is a snap ; making the necessary mods to the store structure for SEO and usability ( categories etc.) takes a little longer- planning on having that finished by tonight.

To get the spiders going ;

- set up Google Profile : http://www.google.com/profiles/weddinginvitationsbeach

- pinged who is record : http://whois.domaintools.com/mybeachweddinginvitations.com

- set up very basic wiki for now on About us : http://www.aboutus.org/Mybeachweddinginvitations.com

so far after 30 mins :

- The datafeed that datafeedr spits out is by itself not an RSS feed. To get around that limitation I converted the txt. file into a csv file and used df2RSS ( datafeed to rss ) program to create csutom rss feeds. They won't give me any backlinks but ithas my affiliate id in it an can be circulated like any other feed .

I basically created 3 feeds - 1 main feed with all the products ' beach wedding invitations ' and 2 feeds named like the categories on the blog.

In addition to the rss directories ( feedage and Feedagg ) I also fed these feed into yahoo pipes.

Left for today :) - create friendfeed account, finish categories on the main site - create zimbo,quizilla,squidoo,wetpaint and weebly account. Create at least 5 articles - corresponding with teh categories - start submitting and interlinking.

Create Friendfeed and Kaboodle Account;

Kaboodle will give me eventually 5 different rss feeds to play with. One it's called the main activity feed and then 4 seperate list feeds once I have created my lists. ( probably will do that over the course of the next 2-3 days )

created blogger,zimbio squidoo and hubpages accounts . ( all in sidebar now )

I reused same article spun a couple of times. For some reason quizilla wouldn't let me save my article - so will try that again tomorrow.

Each article has one link to site category page - one direct ( aff) link to one product - and on link to the next property ( i.e. blogger links to zimbio )

Going back tomorrow and will update some of them ( i.e. tags img etc.)

Google bot is visiting now with increased frequency:) - should pick up a lot over the next couple of days

Tomorrow besides updates to the sites today - wilp start bookmarking the sites.

I am using bookmarkgeneration. Howie if you read this - accept my apologies for being an absolute ass the first couple of days after signing up with bookmarkgeneration :) :)

Though there were some glitches - all good now - It just wasn't a good idea to quit smoking and trying to figure this out at the same time :)

Dind't get everthing done I wanted today - but fairly happy still.
